Important details about procedure on our install:

Thank you for choosing Krumlauf Floors LLC for your install. We kindly ask that you take care of a couple things prior to our arrival to ensure that everything goes very smoothly and that we stay in schedule.

It is most helpful to have all the items/ small furniture out of the project area along with all vehicles moved out of the driveway and garage. the larger items discussed prior to the install, we will take care of. If we are not handling the appliances they need to be completely out of the workspace. It is most helpful to have all the closets emptied at least 4 feet from the floor. Any dressers/beds/ or any type of furniture that needs moved must be completely emptied out and items set out of the project area. Any furniture that is moved on to the new flooring needs to have felt pads attached securely to every piece that makes contact with the new floor. This goes for pianos as well! There is a special made felt pad made for this and needs to be on site prior to our arrival.

We take a lot of pride in keeping the project area very safe. It is required that everyone in the home wears shoes during the whole process until our work is completed. For safety reasons it is most helpful if the customer is not in the project area at all. It is definitely understood that things come up but walking through the project area should be kept to a minimum. Any questions about the project should be addressed at the beginning and end of each day.

Cleaning and maintenance after the flooring is installed: The customer agrees to follow the manufacturer’s required cleaning products, care, and maintenance. The customer agrees to never use a steam mop or any type of sweeper/ bristle vacuum on the new flooring.

By acknowledging this message you Fully agree to the terms above and that you have a good understanding of the full process of at least 7-14 days of acclimation (for hardwood) (2-4 days for luxury vinyl plank) between 35%-55% relative humidity, install details, and manufacture recommended required cleaning products, care, and maintenance.
